Built on the belief that you should know your farmer.

Havenwood Meats is a state-inspected processing facility in New Germany, Minnesota. We process beef, pork, and lamb for Minnesota farmers and connect that same meat directly to families who want to know where their food comes from.

The Operation

Jeremy runs Havenwood Meats out of New Germany, Minnesota — a small town in McLeod County surrounded by working farms. He processes 60 beef and 60–90 pigs every month, all for Minnesota farmers and customers.

Every animal that comes through is state-inspected, custom-cut to the farmer's or customer's instructions, and fully traceable. When you buy from Havenwood, we can tell you exactly which farm your meat came from, which animal it was, and when it was processed.

That's not marketing. That's the actual record we keep on every booking.

The Havenwood Stamp

We don't stamp every farm we process for. The Havenwood Stamp goes to farms that pass our quality evaluation — the right breed, the right feed, the right handling. It's how we stand behind what we sell to customers. If it has the Stamp, we'd buy it ourselves.

Cold Packing & Co-Packing

Havenwood also does cold packing and co-packing for farmers who sell under their own brand. We process and package under your label, to your spec, in our state-inspected facility. If you're a farmer looking to move retail under your own name, talk to us.
